I ran a pretty hearty run this morning so I can afford this! I'm just here for the food, drinks, commercials and well its our apartment and M and I are here because we live here. Who do you want to win the Superbowl?

Yesterday was the SoCal Blogger Meetup. I met a lot of really cool girls and I was lucky enough to win two raffle prizes. I think the prizes that I won were pretty much the best prizes I could win. I don't know how I got so lucky because I'm not usually that lucky of a person when it comes to winning things. I can't wait to dedicate a whole post to recapping the meet up. And if you weren't there you are now probably dying to know what I won. Stay tuned. Very well done to the ladies who put it on Tammy at Lemons, Avocados, and the Bay, Kelsey at Eat, Drink, Be A Tourist, Stephanie at Mrs. Stephanie T and Kai at All Kinds Of Complicated. Thank you!

No Carb week recap. You can read about my carb free intentions here. Well, I lasted almost a full day without carbs. Who am I kidding? I went to the grocery store last Sunday morning for some frozen bell pepper trio mix that I could put in an egg white omelet for a low-carb breakfast option. It wasn't until I got home that I decided to read the nutrition label and to my surprise found the peppers were loaded with carbs! Bell peppers! Which are next to nothing in calories! I could have a whole breakfast for about 200 calories but carb loaded. Ok, well not as loaded as a bagel but not ok for a no carb diet! I quickly became discouraged with my lack of options. By Sunday night I was feeling crappy and bloated and remembered last year I went on a no carb kick and quit because it made me feel unhealthy. Back to portion control and low calorie options! After my Superbowl splurge!
