We got back from Lake Tahoe late last night. I've been disconnected from the social network for awhile. Tahoe was great -- lots more to come. After about 8 hours of driving and being only 2 hours from home, things went from great to real bad real quick.
I was cruising along the freeway listening to some Tupac and I was showing M my mad rapping skills from back in the day when all of a sudden I saw some long metal nail type thing fly from the lane next to me, to my lane and under my car. I said "what the heck was that?!" but didn't think much of it. A few miles later I saw white smoke coming from under my hood.
Long story short, my car is now at a Ford dealership in Corona, CA, which is two hours from San Diego and I have a rental car and am home. The funnest part of it all? I get to drive two hours back to Corona and pick up my car when its fixed. Why couldn't this happen a little closer to home?? To keep things interesting, thats why.
Anyway...on with my scheduled Wednesday post.
